And So I Will.

Push through, I tell myself. My arms have become weaker in the past weeks that I’ve let myself go. The water beneath my board feels heavy and my arms are tired of digging. One wave. I just want to catch one. The waves became delicate as my body became flustered. I see one. I turned my board around, anxiety up to my ears, I push through. And in those 10 seconds, I gave it all I could. I pushed through fear, weakness, and caught the most powerful wave I’ve ever surfed. If only I did that with my life…And so I will.
